Spring Fling!

The pack was ready for action again today as they embarked on another wet and wild romp through the rain kissed woodlands of west coast any-land! Leaves were rustled, sticks were thrown, rivers were forged and butt-sniffing was down to a minimum. 

Cabo was his wirey firey self again today; leading the rest of the pack on another wild goose chase. The goose being more forest of course.

Marlow was true to his animalistic nature as usual too, trying to hulk out logs twice his size from creek beds. He was not very successful in this task though he seemed pretty pleased with himself - what more could you ask for :)

Sumo was staring blindly into the distance often on the hike. We are not sure what he was looking for, perhaps greener pastures, far-away lands, a dirt pile to dig in, flying squirrels... we'll never know. 

Cooper, rambunctious as usual, actually took some time to chill out creek side and catch some early spring rays. Good job kiddo, we're glad to see you also dig your moments of serenity.

Barney and Teddy were joined at the hip today, or should we say both hips? It's sort of like dogs have 2 pairs of hips because they walk on all fours, right? Kind of? Way to go fellas, your our dynamic duo for the day.

And finally Rufus, as always winning his battles against all takers. Those takers often being inanimate sticks. Which he animates. And then destroys. Awesomeness Rufus - keeping the world safe from the tyranny of the stick.

Flash Snow Storm!

The snow just keeps on coming which is especially wierd after the kind of weekend we had. Max made some new friends in Kira and Marley on the field today with the introduction of tag. Jojo and Luke LOVED the snow today because it was the perfect mix of not to wet, not to cold, fluffy snow. You'll see in the video Jojo doing a jig at the top of the mountain! Daisy, Cooper, Carson, and Rufus were a big jumble of arm and legs for the better part of the hike so hopefully they should be nice and tired out. Also in the video you'll see the rare sighting on Kafka actually PLAYING with Rufus. I thought THAT Kafka was extinct but I guess not yet :-)

Snow Bunnies!!

Following the aftermath of thursday's Snowpocolypse we went to the top of the mountain to check out the damage. There was so much snow and the dogs loved it! Everyone was having a great time chasing each other and digging through the snow banks. Even though there were no rocks to be found, Shadow searched all the harder for something to chew on. Wyatt, Kira and Marley were inseperable, and it was nice to see them play nice. Merlin and Annie looked very fashionable in their new 'snow' boots, as the pictures can show. Trudging through the deep snow did not tire out Cooper at all: he was running all over the place. Maybe he has a solar-powered battery? Yukon was not shy about letting the whole pack know of the treasures he found on the way to the top, which was a nice trip for everyone.

Halloween has gone to the dogs!!

This halloween we check out the Pooch Spooks event @ the Three Dog Bakery in Port Moody. It was a lot of fun and there were plenty of costumes to go around. We were amazed at some of the great ideas people had and the trick or treating was a blast. Great work guys! Plus this year we had the opportunity to participate!
